  • The TQC Cylindrical Bend Test is used to determine the elasticity adhesion and elongation of paint on sheet metal in accordance with ISO 1519.
  • A test panel (max. size 150 x 100 mm) is bent over a cylindrical mandrel. The smaller the diameter of the mandrel, the larger the tension on the coating. The test panel is then checked for cracks or damage in the coating.
  • Sturdy apparatus made of a combination of anodized aluminium and stainless steel.
  • Ergonomic clamping device for test panels and large knob on bending arm easy and smooth bending.
  • Large test panel size: max. 150 x 100 mm
  • Luxurious wall mounted / desktop mandrel holder
  • The Cylindrical Bend Test is designed to perform tests according to the latest ISO standards. ISO 1519: "Assessing the resistance of a coating, paint, varnish or related products to cracking and/or detachment from a surface when, subjected to bending around a cylindrical mandrel under standard conditions".
  • Though robust in design, this instrument is precision-machined. Always clean the instrument after use with a soft dry cloth. Do not use compressed air to clean the instrument.
