  • No temperature correction is necessary at the sample solution of 41°F (5°C) to 176°F (80°C)
  • Interferences - Coexistence of Bromide ion, lodide ion or Cyanide ion respectively with Chloride ion gives higher readings. Sulphide ion produces a brown stain and the coexistence with Chloride ion produces a brown stain in the bottom of the stained layer and gives higher readings. PH value within 3.5 to 11 does not affect the readings. Less than pH 3.5 or more than pH 11 gives higher readings. Chemical Reaction in the Detector Tube: NaCl + Ag2CrO4 = AgCl
