To order Custom Octagon Gauges:
- Download Custom Gauge Form Here
- Read Gauge Order Form carefully, and fill out as completely as possible
- Select ALL options desired
- Include special notes in “Comments/Additional Information”
- Email completed form to: gauges.gardco@altana.com
- Attach high resolution logo and/or artwork to be printed
- Digital artwork should be 600dpi resolution
- Acceptable artwork formats include: png, psd, and ai files
- Specify font name or attach fonts when available
- After Order is placed, you will receive a color gauge proof for final review before printing

Standards
Procedure
- Select scale range (25-158 Mil Fiberglass Scale range)
- Place gauge on wet film at 90° angle.
- Press into film
- Withdraw and note deepest tooth or notch having paint on it and next higher tooth that is not coated.
- The wet film thickness lies between these two readings.
- Clean gauge with any suitable solvent immediately after use. Wipe dry. Do not leave gauge immersed in solvent.
For Clear Coatings
- To see clear liquids on the teeth, sprinkle them with talc and blow off. Talc will stick to the wet teeth.
