Coatmaster Cloud + Wi-Fi Server

The Coatmaster Cloud and Wi-Fi Local Server will give you the cloud server and Wi-Fi router capabilities for your Coatmaster Flex Basic in places where WiFi is unavailable and eliminates server fees after the two years have passed. Data interface

Data transmitted to the local server is secured using credential authentication

Data in transmission

The following data are transmitted from the coatmaster Flex device to the local server

  • Measurements (Measurement data and thickeness)
  • Blocks and Applications (name, ID, measurement configurations, etc.)
  • Meta data (Time, Date, MAC-Address, Serial-Number, Service Date, etc.)

Server security

  • Data is protected using database vendor provided hardening tools and best practices
  • Access to device is secured using hashed credentials
  • Software firewall secures server operating system and server applications
  • API access is secured using cryptographically secure keys Firewall provides
  • Network level port security

Data interface

Data transmitted to the cloud is encrypted in transit using HTTPS protocol

The following data are transmitted from the coatmaster Flex device to the coatmaster Flex cloud

  • Measurements (thickness value, date, status code, temperature, humidity)
  • Blocks (name, ID etc.)
  • Applications (measurement configurations)

Data is protected using vendor provided (AWS) best practice security methodology

Access is secured using 2048-bit RSA keys and IP allowlisting
