EasyTrack2 System

EasyTrack3 Thermal Profiling System is designed for temperature profiling of powder coating ovens and products. It is the third generation of the globally accepted Datapaq EasyTrack brand successfully used in the powder and paint coating market by applicators and coating suppliers.

With choice 4 or 6 measurement channels, the EasyTrack3 system allows you to monitor and record product temperatures in your curing oven. Use the detailed temperature profile data to:

EasyTrack Insight™ Software


The EasyTrack3 temperature profiling system comes with two choices of software; standard EasyTrack Insight or the new EasyTrack Insight Professional version.

Both software versions allow to confirm that cure temperatures meet paint manufacturers’ specifications, make comparisons probe-to-probe, identify that the Datapaq® values fall within an acceptable tolerance range and evaluate process parameter changes. With a simple click of the mouse, you can print out a profile report that will satisfy all necessary regulatory requirements.

In addition, the Professional software package unlocks some new key features of the ET3 datalogger, such as multiple run and SmartPaq operation. It also provides an enhanced analysis and reporting platform allowing a professional coating suppliers to offer efficient service to their customers.

EasyTrack Insight Software


ET3 Data Logger

The ET3 datalogger guarantees accurate temperature profiling and is designed with the easy two-button operation. Improved logger memory of x3 permits the profile detail your coating process demands (0.5 sample interval = 2.5 hours run). A battery life is improved x2.5 over the previous EasyTrack2 logger. Performing safely in up to 85°C/185°F, the plastic cool-touch case allows safe and comfortable handling even after the most demanding runs. Supplied with onboard calibration certificate, the ET3 temperature logger provides complete traceability to comply with QA standards.


Thermal Barrier

The EasyTrack3 profiling system comes with thermal barriers that guarantees robust thermal protection and continuous performance run after run.

  • The standard thermal barrier confidently provides 2 hours protection at 200°C/392°F. With weight of only 3kg/6.5 lbs and height of 110mm/4.3 in, it’s easy and safe for transportation.
  • The professional thermal barrier is designed for more demanding powder coating processes where multiple runs back to back are necessary to complete the profiling task in limited time.




The EasyTrack3 system is offered with a comprehensive range of thermocouples to suit every application and product type - from universal exposed junction probe which can be taped directly to any product or material type to a compact designed Micromag probe attaching quickly directly to your steel product.

Thermocouples are an essential part of a temperature profiling systems and are placed at critical points on the product to give a clear temperature profile of the process. All Datapaq probes conform to the highest standards (ANSI MC 96.1 Special Limits of Error) and provide the most accurate data possible. Improved probe cables make them durable and flexible. The quad-wrapped, 10 strand 36 AWG (0.125mm), PTFE and metal braid coated probe cables last significantly longer than previous designs.

The probe is further improved by a stronger 'crimped' plug/cable attachment and a circular cable cross section to reduce kinking and twisting. The green color of the cable conforms to the IEC584 color standard for Type K thermocouples.

These probes are designed for surface contact on ferrous or non-ferrous substrates, specifically aluminum. They are constructed of stainless steel throughout with a Teflon sheathed PTFE insulated ten strand wire. The self adjusting swivel jaws ensure correct sensor alignment on substrate thickness from 0.04 to 0.9 in. (1.0mm to 24.0mm).

These probes are designed specifically for measuring ambient air temperature. They are constructed with a stainless steel outer tube with a Teflon core, stainless steel clip and an exceptionally durable, quadruple wrapped, ten strand PTFE coated wire.

MicroMag Surface & Air
With a 17mm (0.7”) state of the art Samarium Cobalt magnet, low thermal mass and an easy to handle aluminum knob, the MicroMag can be quickly and efficiently attached to ferrous substrates. Despite its compact size, the magnet strength guarantees secure attachment at the highest temperatures experienced within the paint and powder coating industry

Adhesive Patch Type K Probes
Rapid Response Light Duty Patch
These probes are recommended for all substrates <1.0mm thick and are ideal for IR processes where the probe can be placed on the substrate and then over coated. The foil thermocouple junction allows for rapid response times of 100ms. Constructed of a single strand Teflon coated wire these probes employ a self adhesive patch for attachment. They can also be used as a short duration ambient air probe where immediate response is desired.

Rapid Response Heavy Duty Patch
These probes are recommended for non-ferrous substrates such as plastic or aluminum. The welded thermocouple junction allows for a rapid response time of 1 sec. They are attached to the test piece by spot-welding, soldering or use of high temperature tape. These probes can also be used in still air environments as a rapid response ambient air probe.
