LS-1000X Complete Laboratory Stirrer

This tabletop stirrer is adaptable to a wide variety of applications from a small beaker of low viscosity liquid to a gallon of medium-high viscosity liquid. Powerhead slides easily up and down on vertical shaft, locking anywhere with a slight twist of the clamp handle. Slow starts smoothly building to high speeds can be obtained by a gradual turn of the sensitive needle valve. (See description of Powerhead, Item 1 below.) Changes of impellers and shafts of different diameters and pitches can be made quickly using the hex wrench furnished for the sleeve coupling. The Mixed Flow Impellers that come with this unit are capable of giving a mix obtainable with no other blade. They are light weight, self-centering, easy to clean, extremely strong, and will mix thoroughly and fast without drawing air into the solution.

Powerhead slides easily up and down on the vertical shaft, locking at any angle with a slight twist of the oversize clamp handle. Slow starts smoothly building to high speeds can be obtained by a gradual turn of the sensitive needle valve.(See description of Powerhead, Item 1 below) Changes of impellers and shafts of different diameters can be made quickly using the universal 1/2" gear chuck and key furnished as standard equipment with this mixer. The Mixed Flow Impellers included with this unit are capable of giving a mix obtainable with no other blade. This powerful tabletop stirrer is the largest in the line and was developed to mix, stir, or blend practically any high viscosity material up to 10 gallons. The complete range of variable speeds from 0 to 3000 rpm plus the universal gear chuck which allows use of any shaft from 1/8"to 1/2" diameter, and impellers from 1-7/8" to 6" diameter makes this unit the most versatile on the market today. LS-2200GR 15:1 Gear Driven Laboratory Stirrer

This versatile tabletop gear driven mixer is designed for high viscosity materials up to approximately eight gallons. Powerhead slides smoothly up and down on vertical 34" shaft, locking anywhere with a slight twist of the clamp handle. Shaft speeds range from 25 to 350 steady rpm with maximum of 73 lbs. in torque (1/3hp). Speeds can be regulated by a sensitive needle valve (see description of Powerhead, Item 1 below). Changes of blades or impellers with any shaft size to 1/2" diameter can be made quickly by using the universal gear chuck and key. The Paddle Shaft Assemblies are designed to fit the bottom of 2 liter and 5 liter flasks respectively and are perfectly balanced to permit higher speeds without vibration. They are made of type 304 stainless steel and are
permanently assembled to shaft. This unit is the answer for thorough agitation when stirring heated liquids which change viscosity during processing. Slotted stainless steel shaft, 22" x 5/16" dia. (8mm), allows room for thermometer and other equipment under stirrer. May be used in conjunction with 8mm packing gland or stuffing box. The Mixed Flow Impellers with 18" shafts are excellent for mixing medium to high viscosity materials as well as dry powders in open containers.
