This plate has a series of holes on the top and when connected to a vacuum pump or sink aspirator via hose a vacuum is created. It securely flattens paper draw down charts during application of wet coatings with any type of film for uniform film thickness results.
- Economical platform to provide excellent drawdown results
- Each plate comes complete with hose fitting and rubber footing
- Optional chrome plated brass ball valves are required to control ports/zones, they have an easy on/off lever handle to enable or disable vacuum.

There are two ports on the side of the vacuum plate that select the two zones. The vacuum can be isolated to the 9x12 area or the full 12x18 area can be used under vacuum. If the 9x12 area is just required you would supply vacuum to one port, if the 12x18 area is desired you would use both. You have to apply vacuum to both ports to get the entire 12x18 area under vacuum.
