Quickmike is IP-54 certified for resistance to dust penetration, oil or fluid spray from any direction. A special scale contamination alarm is also built-in to warn of any penetration by foreign material.

Valuable features include an enlarged LCD readout with 7.5mm high digits, inch/mm conversion and a data hold function to freeze the display. Also provides Digimatic data output for analysis by SPC systems.

Quickmike has lots of features. First, for reduced inspection time, the thimble diameter is larger than normal mikes giving a speedy 10mm of spindle movement per revolution. That thimble also contains a unique internal ratchet mechanism so you don't have to reach out to an extension. Plus, the carbide tipped spindle is non-rotating to eliminate torsion effect on the workpiece.

The next very significant feature is the exclusive Absolute Encoder Technology. This means the Quickmike can retain its Origin and other settings even when switched off for the life of the battery (3 years with normal use).

Operators do not need to re-zero with each new use of the gauge. Additionally, since the Absolute Encoder takes a reading wherever it stops there is no possibility of overspeed error. Absolute type gauges also have the ability to recover from electronic noise interference.
