This rugged, compact unit heats and stirs up to 1000ml of liquid. Durable 4.5” (11.4cm) diameter cast aluminum top plate provides an even heating surface. Bi-metallic thermostat offers reliable temperature control. Powerful heater reaches maximum temperature in only minutes. Electronic speed control adjusts stirring from 100 to 1200 rpm. Powerful motor and magnet deliver reliable and consistent stirring.

Compact design saves bench space. The built-in support rod holder with locking knob accepts optional support rod and clamp kit. The support rod and clamp kit includes 18” (45.7cm) support rod, thermometer extension clamp, 3-prong medium swivel clamp and hook connector. Optional support plate allows hotplate to be mounted to lab frames or ring stands.

Kettle Clamps

Cast bronze ring with black oxidized finish. Three insulated, spring-activated clamping arms fit beneath the flange of the flask body. Simple pressure on the heat-resistant fiber knobs, and a twist, permit attachment or removal.

Nester Clamp Model No. NC001

Strong brass chromed band/chain & stainless steel rod hold large or small glass distillation columns, odd-shaped glassware, etc., 2" to 6-1/2" diameter in clamp

Shelf Grip Model No. SG002

Grip clamp fastens apparatus to shelf up to 2" thick. Grip has two-way rod clamps to hold standard rods up to 1/2" diameter. Grip can hold up to 150 lb.

Compressor Clamp Model No. CM001

Heavy-duty nickel plated brass compressor w/ a 35mm wide/30mm high opening. Lower member held in place by threaded cap, may be swung out to insert tubing. 6mm screw has a 33mm knurled finger grip for easy turning.

Support Rod & Base Model No. RB001

Multi-use support rod and base are ideal for mounting stirring motors or for heavy equipment. The base is measured 17" across and 13" deep. The nickel plated iron rod is measured 18" high and is 7/8" in diameter.

Column Clamps

Sturdy, easily adjusted, multi-purpose stainless steel clamps are ideal for holding large cylindrical glassware and similar objects. Large, flat thumb-screw on worm drive permits tightening and removing.

Porcelain Base Stand Model No. BS002

White porcelain base is 13" x 7" and holds a 24" x 1/2" aluminum support rod. Stand can be used for many different lab applications.

Slide Staining Rack Model No. SR001

Stainless steel rack spans laboratory sinks up to 21" inside dimension. Triangular slide supporting rods contact the slides only in a narrow zone.
