- Accommodates sample weights to 25 lbs (11.4 kg) on the 7.25"x7.25" and 10.25"x10.25" models, and 10 lbs. (4.5 kg) on 4.25"x4.25" models.

- For safe operation, Cimarec models include a power indicator light that illuminates when power is applied to the control.
- Excellent for bringing aqueous solutions to rapid boil. Units reach maximum temperature of 538°C in eight minutes.
- Boil 600 ml of H2O in a 1 liter flask in approximately 12-18 minutes. (Exact time depends on hot plate model.)
