Explsoion Proof Safe-T Hot Plate
  • UL listed explosion-proof for Class I, Group C and D atmospheres.

  • Thermostatic safety is set at 243°C for added secondary protection.

  • Thermostatic temperature control senses hot plate temperature and maintains heat stability within ±9.9°F (5.5°C).

  • Optional dial thermometer, HP-MEX126, to monitor surface temperature.

  • Corrosion resistant steel case is easily cleaned and maintained.

  • Cast aluminum top plate provides maximum heat transfer for excellent temperature uniformity (±11.7°F or 6.5°C).

  • Accommodates up to 25 lb (11.3 kg) loads.

  • Sealed aluminum housing contains and protects controls from explosive atmospheres.

Dial Thermometer TH-MEX126 — Optional dial thermometer used to monitor top plate temperature on explosion-proof hot plate. 1.0" (2.5 cm) diameter face, .250" (.635 cm) diameter stem x 2.5" (6.4 cm) length. 0-300°C scale range.

Explosion Proof Stirring Hot Plate
  • UL Listed for Class I, Group C and D hazardous atmospheres containing ethylene, and mixtures such as gasoline, naptha, benzene, butane, propane, ethanol, acetone, lacquers, natural gas, or other vapors with ignition temperatures above 280°C.

  • Large, aluminum top plate surface allows for maximum sample capacity. The cast-aluminum top plate provides efficient heat transfer and excellent temperature uniformity. Uniformity of top plate at 158°F (70°C) is ±4°F (±2°C).

  • High quality CE-marked unit has been specially designed to meet IEC1010 laboratory standard.

  • Sturdy construction allows maximum load capacity; 25 lb. (11.3 kg) on top plate.

  • Corrosion-resistant powder coat painted stainless steel case is easily cleaned and maintained.

  • Built-in 0.5" (1.3cm) conduit attachment and 18.0" (45.7cm) lead wire for UL required electrical hook-up. (Unit must be hardwired; plug not included)

  • Optional dial thermometer (HP-MEX126), with 0°C to 300°C range,
    fits directly into top plate and measures surface temperature.

  • Accommodates a metal vessel.
