Used to test the resistance of a coating of paint, varnish or related product to cracking or detachment from a metal panel, after the panel has been bent around a cylindrical mandrel. It can be used as a simple Pass/Fail test at a known diameter, or as a Point of Failure test, by using successively smaller mandrels until cracking is observed. Accepts panels up to 50mm wide and 1mm thick. The following stainless steel mandrels are supplied:

2 ,3 ,4 ,5 ,6 ,8 ,10, 12, 16, 20, 25, & 32mm diameter. Other sizes of mandrels can be made to order.
