Use of a deadweight test stand and your durometer gives you the most accurate readings, better repeatability and the fastest method of testing. These stands have the ASTM recommended mass, providing a consistent load each and every test. Choose the proper stand for your durometer from the two models listed below:

HA-476 Stand with 1 kg weight is for ASTM Types A, B, & O

HA-477 Stand with 5 kg weight is for ASTM Types C, D, & DO

Precision engineered durometer stand has an oil-less air pot to give a smooth, controlled descent. When properly used, this stand and your durometer will make the most accurate hardness readings. The unit's table can be adjusted and set in place to test materials with
nonparallel top and bottom surfaces.

A 1 kilogram mass applies the ASTM recommended force to consistently counter the durometer mainspring each and every test. The stand will accept sample materials up to 3" thick. Custom stands are available for larger samples.

For e2000 Style durometers use Model 472-1 (shown). For Classic or Ergo style durometers use Model 472-2 ConstaLoader™ Stands.
