- Tape size: 37 x 95 mm (thickness 75μm)
- Evaluation area size: 25 x 25 mm
- Made up of clear protection film on a 3 section piece of tape
- Adhesion Strength: 550~650 mN/25mm (according to ISO 60454-2:1994)

- Remove the protective
 film from the evaluation area and place the tape (adhesive side down) on testing coating surface, make sure to remove any air bubbles.
- Stick tape
 on testing coating surface by finger or roller, the pressure should exceed 0.1 MPa (1kgf/cm2).
- Then remove the tape and peel off the protective film for the tabs
 .
- Place the tape (adhesive side down) on a substrate of appropriate color to give the greatest contrast.
- Evaluate the degree of chalking by reference to the pictorial standards in ISO 4628-6.
