For the correct measurement of coatings with a Fischer coating thickness gauge, calibration foils are required to verify the accuracy of the measurements. Each instrument should be calibrated against a known thickness (calibration foil) before measuring the actual coating.
All Fischer foils are certified and serialized.
They are traceable to NIST and comply with the calibration requirements of ISO 13485. All ranges are approximate and will be as close as possible to your requested thickness.
