Description

The 355T software supports the 28 key control pad and allows readings to be stored in batches (up to 10,000 readings in total) with data and time stamps, analysis of mean, standard deviation, max and min readings plus limits, reasonable limits and calibration records in batches operating statistics, averaging or counted average modes.

The key to the superiority of the 355 is its measurement system which features a range of interchangeable Probe Modules capable of an accuracy of ±1% of reading on a variety of coatings and surfaces, including ferrous and nonferrous substrates.
The unit's large memory allows you to store up to 10,000 readings in various batches up to 7 digits long and data can be output to a PC, datalogger or printer when and as required.
The entire unit weighs in at under 650 grams (1.5 lbs) and comes with a leather carry case for both the unit and the accessories. A full selection of probe modules allows choice for the particular application. All modules are supplied with calibration foils.

Probes

Probe modules are available for both Electromagnetic Induction and Eddy Current measurements of coating thickness.
Ferrous (F) Modules: Using the electromagnetic induction probe, a number of F modules are available for different coating thickness ranges and a variety of probe capabilities. These modules all measure nonmagnetic coatings such as paint, plastic, enamel, powder, rubber, ceramic, electroplating, hard chrome, galvanizing, zinc sprayed metals, etc., on magnetic substrates eg. steel, cast iron, ferritic stainless steel, etc.
Nonferrous (N) Modules: Using the eddy current principle the N modules measure nonconductive coatings such as anodizing, paint powders, lacquers, plastics, etc., on nonferrous metal substrates eg. aluminum, brass, stainless steel, copper, titanium, etc.
