The features described here apply to all four of the above mixers. The sturdy clamp arrangement permits any angle of the agitator desired, as well as 6" vertical adjustment for those shafts that are just a little too long or too short. Motor heads can also be swiveled 360° to allow the air line to come in at any position. All c-clamps are drop forged for maximum strength and are supplied with a heavy corrosive resistant plating.

The 90° machined block clamp furnished will fit on any vertical rod to 3/4" and any horizontal rod to 5/8". Oversize handles permit easy locking in any position. For larger containers longer shafts are available for all units except the CL-1000—All three direct drive units are nonreversible which means less air consumption with higher top speeds.

MX-CL-1000—This small mixer is normally used for low viscosity material up to five gallons. This is the LS-101A Powerhead with speeds ranging from 25 to 6000 rpm. Furnished with brass sleeve coupling, 15" x 5/16" Stainless Steel shaft and 3" regular pitch Stainless Steel impeller. (Other size shafts and impellers available.) Wt. 6 lbs.

MX-CL-2000—This medium size mixer is normally used on low to medium-high viscosity material in five gallon containers. This is the LS-102A Powerhead with speeds ranging from 25 to 3000 rpm. Furnished with 1/2" capacity universal gear chuck, 15" x 1/2" Stainless Steel shaft and 4" high lift Stainless Steel impeller. (Many combinations of shafts and blades may be obtained for this unit.) MX-CL-3000—This heavy duty mixer can be used on anything from low to high viscosity material in five gallon containers. This is the LS-103A Powerhead with speeds ranging from 25 to 3000 rpm. MX-CL-2200—This heavy duty mixer is designed for viscous material in five gallon containers. This is our LS-122GR Powerhead with speeds ranging from 25 to 350 rpm. Develops high torque with steady speeds controlled by needle valve. Can be reversed by changing muffler and valve. Furnished with 1/2" capacity Jacobs gear chuck, 15" x 1/2" Stainless Steel shaft and 4" dia. high lift Stainless Steel impeller. All mixed flow impellers are type 304 Stainless Steel.

They are self-centering, light weight and easy to clean. It is not necessary to use shafts larger in diameter than 1/2" when using the impellers up to and including 6" in diameter. It is not recommended that shaft lengths of over 40" be used on these mixers. As a rule of thumb, it is suggested that a mixed flow impeller with a diameter 1" larger than a marine type propeller, which it replaces, be used. All four mixers listed below are direct drive - powered with our non-reversible air motors which means less air consumption and higher top speeds.

MX-OD-202 (not shown)—This small direct drive mixer is normally used for low viscosity fluids to 55 gallons. The 102A powerhead is supplied with a 1/2" universal gear chuck or 1/2" sleeve coupling, 34" x 1/2" Stainless Steel shaft and one 5" diameter regular pitch or high pitch impeller (please specify).
