The CMB series color matching booth produces five spectrally dissimilar sources of illumination. It is an essential tool for visual color assessment, comparison of color variations, and the detection of metamerism*. This controlled viewing environment features:
 
  • Five Light Sources -instantly selectable for detecting metamerism and fluorescence
    1. Artificial Daylight D65 or D50
    2. Store Light (CWF or TL84)
    3. Home Light (Incandescent A)
    4. Ultraviolet
    5. Optional Source (D50, TL84, TL83)

  • Push Button - "Instant on" Lamp Selector
  • Automatic Light Source Sequencing
  • GTI ColorGuard II Timing Center - tracks all light source usage
  • 3 Standard Sizes- to fit any application (Custom sizes available)

*metamerism: when color samples appear to match under one illumination condition but distinctly change when viewed under a different illumination condition.

Ideal application for visual comparison of color samples to standards, batch to batch color, and color inspection of dissimilar materials.
